"Contemporary African Masks and Converse Clichés" was a solo exhibition of Phil's art at the Botswana National Museum and Art Gallery in 2007.  The images were printed very large and affixed to the outside of the Museum as public art.  Some were vandalized.  I then participated in an aesthetic discussion with the vandal.
